Sweet Corn Bhel

Ingredients:
- 250gms Sweet corn,
- 1 onion finely chopped,
- 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves,
- 1/2 tsp red chili powder,
- 1/2 tsp chat masala,
- Salt to taste,
- 2 tbsp butter (omit for a low calorie snack).



Method:
1. Boil sweet corn for approximately 10 mins on slow flame (peel the kernel)
2. Heat a pan, melt butter and add corn and saute for 2-3 minutes
3. Remove from flame and
a. add chat masala
b. Salt
c. Chili powder and mix well.
4. Take mixture in bowl and garnish with chopped onions and coriander

Note:
- Best serve hot
- If Mangos (Kairi/ Kaccha Aam) are available then cut finely without skin and add to garnishing.

Sankranti

Tomorrow is Makar Sankranti,

A day to say “Til gul ghya aani god god bola”, I feel so great to be Indian we have so many festival all year to celebrate and each with it’s own glory, meanings and pleasure.

I enjoyed last yeas Samkranti the most, it was special being my first Tilwa (first Sankranti after marriage). I dressed up in full  traditional getup and wore all special ornament made of Chiranjev dane & we also arranged LOOT for Mrunmai, Manu and all kids enjoyed it a lot. Even elders too it’s fun catching chocolates, dry fruits and many other items.


This all was prepared for me :)

& this is Mrunmai fully tired after the event
